Apparently these results were published in:
Journal of Applied Developmental Psychology Volume 25, Issue 6, Pages 627-769 (November-December 2004). A researcher into teen’s use of the Internet has just posted an interesting reposte to the thrust of some of the results outlined there which calls into question the unspoken assumption in some of the research outlined there that children or teens are in a ’state of innocence’ which chatroom use may shatter.
